Letter to the Membership:

If we want the Holland-America Club to continue, we need more volunteers.

It is our Club, so let's take possession of it.

We still need to fill two positions on the Board. We need a Vice President.
This is a one-year term, followed by a two-year term as President. We have many leaders in our membership.

We also need an Editor.
This position has been simplified a lot since the Tulip Talk is now published on the web. No more dealings with printers, address labels or the post office. The Tulip Talk can be published as simple, or as intricate as the editor wishes. The editor has the freedom to be only informative, or as creative as she or he desires.

The Board is sure that among our membership there are plenty of leaders and artists/writers to fill these openings, thereby assuring the continuance of our Club with it's many Dutch oriented outings, such as: Leiden's Ontzet, Sinterklaas, New Year's Reception, Nature Walk, Barbeque, Picnic etc..

So please, when we gather next for the picnic, once again graciously hosted by Grace and Kars Tamminga, may we see two more volunteers?
